Eek! They who bought girl power and a little more flair to your average girl group in the 90s and early 2000s are complete! Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B. (Scary Spice), and Mel C. (Sporty Spice) looking all ethereal in a group photo at Geri’s house in Hertfordshire, England, where they met with former manager and pop impresario Simon Fuller, the BBC reported.
In a statement, the girl group said that 2018 was a time that felt “right to explore some incredible new opportunities together,” reported Variety.
“We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations,” they added.
Aside from Geri, the other members of the group also teased they were working together again via posts on social media.
Emma Bunton captioned the photo with a ‘Love my girls!’

Victoria, who in the past has been against a reunion in music for the girl group, definitely has no love lost for her group mates as she captioned her photo with #friendshipneverends:

Variety added that nothing is “set in stone” yet, according to a BBC interview, but they were glad there was immense positive reaction across the board that the girls had gotten together.
There are reports too of a new talent show, television appearances in China, a second greatest hits compilation album and a variety of endorsement deals.
Too bad new music won’t be in the cards!
Despite the years, the Spice Girls remain to be the best-selling girl group of all time. They reunited for a world tour in 2007 then for another performance together at the 2012 London Olympics.
The Guardian notes that it will be 20 years since Ginger Spice left the group, ‘drawing their two-year period of global domination to a close.’
They disbanded totally in December 2000, and each member went on with different careers. Mel B. has acted as a judge on a number of talent shows, Beckham is now a noted fashion designer, Bunton is a radio presenter on Heart London, and Horner has written books and judged on talent shows including the BBC’s All Together Now.
