Chloe Kim turned out to be one of the best things that happened for America at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang thus far, but there are people in the world who just want looks to be all that her achievements boil down to.
A Barstool Sports radio personality decided that aside from taking about Kim’s victory or her family’s story and how she came to represent America in the games, he instead wanted to make a tasteless and tone-deaf comment about her looks instead.
According to this report, Patrick Connor, co-host of the Dialed-In with Dallas Braden, Connor first made reference to Kim’s upcoming 18th birthday in April, then proceeds to compare himself to Matthew McConaughey’s character in “Dazed and Confused,” who is famous for the line “That’s what I love about these high school girls. I get older, they stay the same age,” then quotes it as well.
After another program co-host, Brody Stevens, laughingly agreed, Connor says:
“She’s fine as hell. If she was 18, you wouldn’t be ashamed to say that she’s a little hot piece of ass. And she is. She is adorable. I’m a huge Chloe Kim fan.”
Audio of the sports program co-hosts’ comments was captured on Deadspin, and seems like Connor isn’t very remorseful of his words.

People who were able to hear his comments understandably had not a lot of nice things to say about Connor.
Patrick Connor is an absolute moron. I hate listening to him.
