With so much drama going on in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kim Kardashian deserves more than just applause – robbed in Paris, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been avoiding the spotlight lately. And after her husband, Kanye West’s hospitalization due to mental breakdown and exhaustion, the reality star remains strong and supportive.
After being released from UCLA Medical Center, Kanye has been receiving outpatient treatment and has been reunited with Kim and his children.
Even in the middle of dealing with the trauma of being robbed, Kim Kardashian has been by her husband’s side, sources say.
“Kim is doing okay despite reports,” a source said. “She has many things on her plate so being overwhelmed is expected. She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him.”
The source added that “Kim wants him to continue getting therapy even after all of this. He has support from so many people.”
Meanwhile, another insider said that Kanye’s decision to leave the hospital and continue outpatient treatment was driven by his desire to be with his children, Saint West and North West.
Kanye West was recently hospitalized and voluntarily sought treatment after having a mental breakdown due to extreme exhaustion.
Before being hospitalized, Kanye was in the L.A. home of his trainer, Harley Pasternak. Reports say he was acting “erratically” and had to be restrained before being taken to the hospital.
“[He] went to the hospital today on his own will and under the consultation of his physician,” an insider said.
In the days leading up to his hospitalization, he has been acting rather strangely (well, stranger than usual, that is), ranting on The Ellen Degeneres Show, posting random catalog photos on his Instagram and cancelling his Saint Pablo tour to his fans’ outrage.
On Monday, Dec. 5, Kimye’s son, Saint West celebrated his first birthday and they had an unusually intimate and low-key celebration for him (low-key as compared to his equally famous family members).
