If you think bath bombs are just a fad, when you see this giant one, you might have think again!
If you’re the type of person who reserves one night out of the week specifically just to soak up in your favorite bath bomb, why not use up a whole pool with this 2, 000 pound bath bomb?
The inventive minds over at Vat19 took self-care to a pool sized level by cooking up what they proclaim is the world’s biggest bath bomb: consisting of 31 bags of 50 pound materials (corn starch, citric acid, baking soda, and black dye; if you’re into goth water) mixed around in a (clean!) construction-grade cement mixer, and packed into a custom-made fiberglass mold; the behemoth bath bomb was then dropped into a pool for maximum shared soaking and fizzing fun.

It looks unbelievable, doesn’t it? It’s like when the waiter comes walking toward you with your order after a long, hungry day; or when you hear the pop of a firecracker after seeing the fire travel through the coil, or when the bass drops from a pretty long beat, oh, you get what we mean!
It’s strange though that all that effort was put into making something that’s only satisfying and has a purpose when it’s destroyed.
Vat19 is a website dedicated to creating “curiously awesome gifts and videos,” but there’s no word yet on whether they plan to sell these satisfyingly fizzy bad boys.
In the meantime, have even more fizzy, colorful goodness!
