For anybody still on a Avengers: Infinity War high, the group sure knows the way to our hearts when it comes to their off-screen friendship, as Iron Man Robert Downey Jr shared in a series of Instagram posts.
The Avengers stars Downey, Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) all got a logo of their superhero team from New York based tattoo artist Josh Lord.
According to Downey, it was Johansson who came up with the idea of a tattoo to commemorate the success of Infinity War.
“Now we are one,” said Downey as he posed with Lord, Hemsworth, Johansson, and Renner.
They greeted Evans, who was not there at the time, but had also gotten inked.
Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk, opted to go without, as according to Downey: “The sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us.”
The five actors all starred in what is regarded as the first Avenger movie in the current franchise, Marvel’s The Avengers back in 2012.
