‘Bad Blood’ Director Gets Stung By The ‘Beyhive’ After Saying Beyoncé Copied Taylor Swift

Never, I repeat, NEVER go after Beyoncé, because you are likely to get stung by the Beyhive (the collective name for Beyoncé’s fans).

This week, “Bad Blood” director, Joseph Kahn said something completely preposterous about Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.

After Taylor Swift’s music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” has been released, people couldn’t help but notice the resemblance of its imagery to Beyoncé’s “Formation” music video.

Kahn denied copying the concept behind Formation” (directed by Melina Matsoukas) previously.

“I’ve worked with Beyoncé a few times. She’s an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. Love and respect to Bey,” he wrote on Twitter.

However, in an interview with The Los Angeles Times, the director seemed to have a different opinion.

“It’s not ‘Formation’ at all,” he said. “They try to say she’s wearing a black crop top and Beyoncé wore a black crop top. But they don’t realize in 2015 in “Bad Blood,” Taylor Swift was wearing a black crop top. I really do think, by the way, that Beyoncé copied “Bad Blood.”

For the record, this isn’t the first time Kahn has been a jerk.

Naturally, the Beyhive wasn’t here for it.

Following Kahn’s statement, his social media has been flooded with the bee emoji, signaling that he has disturbed the Beyhive and they’re here to sting.

That’s what you get for pitting two, amazing and talented female artists against eachother, Kahn.
