The verdict is out: the music festival fave of most celebrities and influencers is officially “Beychella.”
The headlining performance had almost a military precision with regards to everything: the costumes, the music, the dances, even down to the lightshow that accompanied it. Not to mention that everyone probably had their wigs blown off and their hairlines taken back a few inches when Bey brought out the group that made her known: instant Destiny’s Child reunion!
That’s right, apart from the blazing spectacle of mostly vibrant yellows, gleaming silver, and powerful black, Beyoncé brought out Kelly and Michelle to take us even more the way out our seats (not that anyone was sitting down for this).
Appearances from her hubby Jay and sister Solange only made the night even better.
You can bet it was blowing up everywhere:
The only thing that has ever made me want to have children is seeing the glory of Beyoncé live. One day I’ll force my grandkids to listen to me rave about this performance. 🐝

I don’t care if you don’t like Beyonce, but you don’t have to tell me! Keep it to yourself! #Beychella

Bey really changed the color of Summer 2018 for Black Girls to YELLOW. Like a wild card in Uno. #BEYCHELLA

Even the New York Times dipped in on the iconic performance, wherein the word ‘iconic’ was now suddenly deemed too simple a word to describe what the first black woman to headline Coachella had done for artists, performers, and concert-goers everywhere.
We still can’t get enough!
