We’re Moving To Barbados Because Rihanna Was Just Named Ambassador

Work, work, work, work until we have enough money to uproot ourselves and move to Barbados because the country has the most bad-ass ambassador in the person of Rihanna.

On Thursday, September 19, Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was made “ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary.”

“Rihanna has a deep love for this country and this is reflected in her philanthropy, especially in the areas of health and education,” said Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley. “She also shows her patriotism in the way she gives back to this country and continues to treasure the island as her home.”

The Love On The Brain singer said she “couldn’t be more proud” about the role given to her by the government of Barbados.

“Every Barbadian is going to have to play their role in this current effort, and I’m ready and excited to take on the responsibility,” Rihanna said. “I look forward to working with Prime Minister Mottley and her team to reimagine Barbados.”

As an ambassador, Riri will be promoting education and tourism and investment of her native country.

On top of that, she’s also launching new Fenty Beauty products, which includes a gorgeous chocolate brown-mauve lipstick to die for!

Keep it up, Riri! You’re an inspiration to all women.
